What has been your career highlight so far?
In NYC, I was able to do a 3 year apprenticeship with former Frederic Fekkai creative director Roy Teeluck. I also spent 10 years working NY Fashion Week.
In LA, I did a 2 year LA Apprenticeship with Celebrity Stylist Teddy Charles, where I worked alongside him on commercials, covers, and editorial jobs with Kendall Jenner, Miley Cyrus, Cindy Crawford, Jane Fonda, and many others. I also got to style for shows like Westworld and America’s Next Top Model, as well as the Louis Vuitton Book #8.
Describe your personal style or aesthetic.
I tend to gravitate toward more freeform shapes and cutting styles. However, I also find beauty in a simple shape which has impeccable balance, or a line that’s cut immaculately to perfection. I think that it is important to take a nuanced approach to style and aesthetics.
What is your approach to doing hair?
My formal training is in the classical French technique. I tend to use that technique as my foundation, then incorporate and draw from inspirations and current trends.
