What do you love about doing hair?
What I love most about doing hair is that it goes way beyond the final look. It’s about helping my clients leave the salon feeling confident, beautiful, and more like themselves. I also cherish the genuine connections we build, the conversations, the stories, and being someone they can talk to and feel heard by.
Describe your personal style.
I would describe my personal style as polished streetwear with a playful edge. I love pairing chic, baggy pants with a simple, elevated top, then completing the look with a kitten heel or a classic sneaker.
What are your favorite things to do in Chicago?
One of the things I love to do most in Chicago is experience the city through its food. I’m someone who truly appreciates a great meal, and with so many incredible restaurants and cultures throughout the city, there is always something new to get a taste of! Some of my favorite memories are made around a table, sharing good food and meaningful moments with the people I love in Chicago.
What styles or aesthetics are you influenced by?
I am mostly influenced by a classic 90s Chicago outfit with more of a relaxed look to it, you can never go wrong with a pair of heels, jeans, cute top and trendy jacket to pair everything together. I also love big hoop earrings, it's very rare that I won't have a pair of hoops on!
Favorite current beauty trend.
One of my favorite beauty trends right now is a gorgeous, lived-in balayage paired with a big, bouncy blowout. I absolutely love the timeless, effortless beauty of a Victoria’s Secret-inspired blowout. There’s something so beautiful about soft, voluminous layers, effortless movement, and a gorgeous, dimensional color that complements it all. I love creating hair that not only looks stunning when you leave the salon but also grows out beautifully and feels effortlessly chic. To me, the perfect combination of lived-in color and a voluminous blowout will never go out of style. It’s feminine, and gives that beautiful, confident feeling we all love!
