What do you love about doing hair?
My first job in high school was as a salon assistant, where I fell in love with the energy of the salon, connecting with people, and being part of an experience that made guests feel their best. After pursuing college and building a career in the medical field, I realized how much I missed that creative, personal connection. Hair has brought me back to something I've always loved: combining artistry, genuine hospitality, and personal expression to help guests feel like their most glamorous version of themselves.
Describe your personal style.
My personal style is always evolving with each new chapter of my life. At home, I'm drawn to cozy, classic vintage interiors, while my wardrobe currently leans toward preppy, posh pieces mixed with clean-cut casual essentials. I love balancing timeless elements with something modern.
What are your favorite things to do in Chicago?
My favorite Chicago activities are biking on the lakeshore path, late night hot yoga, and rooftop dinners with a beautiful view of the city.
What styles or aesthetics are you influenced by?
I pull a lot of inspiration from 50’s glamour to 90’s/y2k modern editorial. I will always love big bouncy hair and a clean chic updo. Fusing these two together has been such a fun expression while experimenting with styling and updos to create a new fresh aesthetic for myself and guests.
Favorite current beauty trend.
I love seeing timeless beauty trends reimagined for a new generation. Whether it's a modern take on a classic blowout or a style customized to someone's everyday routine, I'm most inspired by trends that feel effortless, wearable, and personal. Beautiful hair should feel just as good in everyday life as it does leaving the salon.
