What I love about doing hair is the satisfaction of the entire process. I enjoy seeing it all come together, step by step, especially with color. Watching the transformation take shape and seeing the art in it is really rewarding to me.
What is your favorite hair to do?
As a brunette myself, I love working with all shades of brunette. I also really enjoy working with blondes at the shampoo bowl. What I love most about this work is the detail and precision that goes into creating beautiful, dimensional results.
Describe your personal style.
I love keeping my wardrobe full of basics and neutrals because they are classic and timeless. But I’m also a cheetah girl at heart, so I’ll always find a way to sneak in a little cheetah print. I also rarely leave the house without my chunky gold jewelry – it’s my favorite finishing touch!
What are your favorite things to do in Chicago?
I love spending weekends strolling around and discovering new coffee shops and bookstores. I’m also always up for trying a new workout class. In the summer, nothing beats catching a baseball game—Go White Sox!
