What has been your career highlight so far?
I’m proud of my multifaceted career- Including styling behind the chair in some of the top salons in Chicago, working as a freelance artist at photoshoots, and creating timeless bridal looks to complete her special day. Sharing all things beauty, art, and fitness with others is a true joy for me and ultimately my lifelong mission since childhood.
Describe your personal style or aesthetic.
My style is ever-changing. I love expressing myself through clothing, which can range from relaxed street wear to elegant chic. I love basic essentials and elevating my look with a statement piece. Additionally, I practice a holistic lifestyle, and I am constantly looking for ways to incorporate this into my life, specifically at the salon - simple, quality, and clean.
What is your approach to doing hair?
Approach to hair: creating a comfortable and relaxed environment for my client to express themselves, so I can create a quality look complimentary to their style, aesthetic, and energy. Elevating a haircut with my dry cutting and blow dry finish is where the magic is for me. That feeling when the client leaves my chair, filled with light, and living their best life is the reason I do what I do.
